Job Description
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Manage and supervise the end-to-end AP and AR processes ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, collections, and reconciliations.
Monitor aging reports, resolve discrepancies, and maintain vendor and customer relationships.
General Ledger Management:
Oversee daily GL activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Budgeting & Financial Reporting:
Lead the preparation, consolidation, and analysis of budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial reports.
Provide insights and variance analysis to support the Head of Finance and senior management in financial planning.
Compliance & Controls:
Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements relevant to the food industry.
Coordinate with auditors and support audit processes.
Team Leadership & Development:
Manage and mentor the accounting team to improve efficiency, accuracy, and professional growth.
Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting managerial level roles with direct exposure to AP, AR, GL, and budgeting/reporting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial regulations relevant to the food industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead and develop accounting teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
