Job Description
- Record newly acquired fixed assets in the Excel program.
- Ensure all assets are properly tagged and documented upon acquisition
- Calculate and post monthly depreciation entries.
- Ensure depreciation schedules are updated and compliant with applicable accounting standards.
- Conduct and coordinate periodic physical verification of fixed assets at all club sites.
- Reconcile results of physical counts with asset register.
- Track asset transfers between departments or club locations.
- Record disposal, write-offs, and retirements of assets as per policy.
- Prepare fixed asset reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support financial audits by providing necessary documentation and clarifications.
- Ensure compliance with company capitalization policies and accounting standards.
- Maintain and update the fixed assets module in the ERP system (e.g., Oracle).
- Recommend improvements for better tracking and control of assets.
- Coordinate with the procurement and projects departments to track capital expenditures.
- Work with facility teams to ensure asset data accuracy and policy adherence.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in clubs' sector.
- Proficient in accounting systems and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
