Job Description
•Preparing the documentation cycle and chart of accounts.
• Preparing consolidated financial statements.
• Managing and monitoring staff for all day-to-day financial aspects, including vendor payments, purchase orders, petty cash, and project expenses.
• Evaluating options for coordinating activities, procedures, and systems to enhance internal control policies and practices.
• Maintaining periodic financial oversight of the company within the agreed budget.
• Ensuring that appropriate financial regulations and controls are in place and utilized at all times.
• Ensuring that new funding sources are sought to ensure business continuity.
• Preparing regular reports to senior management on income and expenses and any variances from budgets.
• Ensuring that all financial reporting obligations are met.
• Reviewing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
• Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and forecasting future trends.
• Conducting reviews and evaluations of cost reduction opportunities.
• Preparing accurate financial reports with established deadlines.
• Developing financial management mechanisms that reduce financial risk.
• Follow up and fulfill the requirements of a certified public accountant in accordance with Egyptian accounting standards and the Egyptian Tax Authority.
• Set general standards for inventory control, management, safety, and replacement limits, in accordance with company policies, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
• Develop a collections plan and manage the daily operations of collectors to ensure a collection plan consistent with cash flow needs.
• Communicate with banks and manage and fulfill their requirements to ensure smooth external transfers, facilities, and credit limits.
• Ability to direct, train, and review the performance of work teams.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, economics, or a related field.
• Experience in financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, budgeting, forecasting, and other general accounting services.
• Thorough knowledge of local accounting standards.
• Good knowledge of local tax regulations and financial legislation.
• A comprehensive understanding of the full accounting cycle and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of accounting systems and software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Quick Books, etc.).
• Understanding of the fundamentals of financial planning and financial statement analysis.
• Strong financial analysis skills and accurate reporting.
• Highly capable leadership, organizational, and administrative skills to manage an accounting team.
• Excellent skills in using Excel and accounting models.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills and informed financial decision-making.
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial data to make strategic decisions.
