Job Description
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions.
- Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company objectives.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders.
- Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaising with external auditors and ensuring timely completion.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data, producing financial reports and recommendations for process improvements.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Ensure accurate and timely tax filings and compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and support cross-functional initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements within the accounting function.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Proven track record of managing accounting teams and overseeing complex financial operations.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
