Job Description
- The Accounting Manager will be responsible for leading the company’s accounting function, ensuring accuracy in financial records, compliance with regulatory standards, and support for financial decision-making. You’ll supervise a small accounting team and work closely with the finance and project teams to manage accounts, cash flows, and cost allocations for large-scale technology projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the company’s full accounting cycle.
- Apply and monitor financial standards for revenue recognition, expense allocation.
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, tax laws, and relevant regulations.
- Monitor accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Analyze financial data to support strategic decisions and projects evaluations.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Project Accounting:
Track and allocate costs, revenues, and expenses for turnkey integration projects in line with contract terms. - Financial Reporting:
Prepare periodic financial statements, management reports, and reconciliations to support decision-making. - Audit & Documentation:
Coordinate external audits and ensure the maintenance of comprehensive documentation for transactions and controls.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of proven experience in accounting or financial management.
- Advanced in Excel and financial reporting tools, with strong command of ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Odoo.”.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead the finance function.
