The Product Engineer role is the responsible contact to find solutions for technical problems in regards to work scope and work packages, interpretation of maintenance data, request repair concessions, preparation of complicated repairs or concessions related job cards and support capability build up projects.Sounds interesting? Apply now!TasksThe Product Engineer is responsible for:Assisting production, particularly during inspections and complex repairsPreparing professional and clear damage reports and repair proposals to be supplied to the OEMsSupporting and monitoring OEM concession requestsPreparing customized job cards for the complex repairs and concessions, monitoring them on the related applicationsObtaining required maintenance dataReading and extracting the required information from the technical documents and drawings and supplying them to the production when neededEstimating the repair requirements and feasibility prior to receiving the maintenance eventDeveloping work scopes and work packages to comply with customer requirementsSupporting in customer requests from technical perspectiveDeveloping concepts for alternatives, evaluating solution concepts technically and economically and developing and implementing action plansRequirementsThe ideal Product Engineer should meet the following requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical engineering or mechanical engineering requiredMinimum of 4 years Aeronautical Engineering experience requiredGood English language knowledgeExperience in engineering of aircraft structures or sheet metal/composite components requiredGood knowledge of aircraft/components maintenanceAbility to read and demonstrate knowledge from technical manuals and publicationsGood abilities to understand and evaluate technical informationVery good reporting skillsKnowledge of aviation legislationHigh sense of responsibilityAbility to work under pressureAdvanced computer skillsMust possess a legal work permit in the United Arab EmiratesCompanyLufthansa Technik is the world's leading provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul services and modifications in the aviation industry.
