Kashier is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated General Accountant to join our finance team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates with a degree in accounting or a related field. The General Accountant will assist with various accounting tasks, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with all applicable regulations.
Job Description
- Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- Update accounts receivable and issue sales invoices.
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Follow up on all bank accounts and ensure that bank transactions are recorded in the system.
- Preparing the bank reconciliations and settlement restrictions.
- Ensure the daily bank transactions are recorded in a timely and accurate manner.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 1-3 years of accounting/finance experience.
- Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with accounting software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization.
- Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation.
- Highly detail-oriented.
