Job Description

  • Main Role: manage the Technical Office Team (architecture) in terms of  preparation, submittal and follow up of detailed (composite) working shop drawings.
  • Coordinate between Architecture, MEP & Civil
  • Monitor site progress to ensure approved drawings are executed in line with project specifications
  • Ensure all drawings are executed accurately 
  • Respond to technical queries in a professional and timely manner: provide Client/designer and/or Consultant with any information requested
  • Provide professional advise and/or recommendations regarding any changes requested by Client/Designer to ensure that neither the project cycle or quality is disrupted
  • Implement applicable changes to the drawings post discussion with client/designer/consultant and securing official approvals
  • Quantity Surveying
  • As-built drawings
  • Coordinate with Project Coordination Division to ensure packages are segregated as per project drawings (i.e wood, metal, aluminum, glass, doors etc.)
  • Ensure proper log is maintained for all project related drawings, material submittal and/or correspondence etc.
  • Regular reports of progress to be issued

Job Requirements

Minimum Required Education

  • University degree in Engineering – Architecture
  • Strong command of Autocad (REVIT is a plus)
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in Finishing and Fit Out Projects - Residential, Commercial, Corporate, Hospitality

Professional Knowledge

  • Knowledge of construction materials and methods
  • Professional knowledge in Construction, methods, and applications
  • Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software
  • Knowledge of Engineering procedures and systems such knowledge of principles and practices of basic engineering
