Job Description

identify key quality improvement opportunities and implement highly effective workflows and processes to achieve better pharmaceutical outcomes.
Ensures compliance with national, and Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations.
Oversee the operation of the pharmaceutical units on a regular basis.
Ensure that all medications& pharmaceutical products on shelf or on stock are stored within the proper conditions for each& with trusted custody.
Oversee the expired and near expired pharmaceutical products on a regular basis and monitor their cost according to stock control to ensure all BUs didn’t exceed the agreed limited cost& ensure no deficit in supplies.
Seek for partnerships& networking with distributers & vendors –as agreed with Andalusia’s standards& in alignment with the supply chain department- to minimize the numbers of un-available drugs in the units.
Provide consultancy& support to physicians& prescribers on drug information& alternatives supporting tender compliance in Egypt’s BUs& ensure decreasing the slow movement items.
Coordinate with Clinical governance in all intersecting issued and integrate the agreed corrective or preventive actions with the hospital practices.
Monitor and report the progress periodically –as agreed- towards achieving strategic plans and adherence of each project to promote collaborative working across the 3 BUs with inter and intra coordination.
Continual assessment of pharmacy services for improvement related to quality, cost, formulary management, medication delivery, safety, customer service and engagement results and provides recommendations for improvement and/or business development in order to achieve outcomes and goals for system-wide quality, service and financial viability.
Oversee pharmacy leakage over Egypt’s BUs –whether from OPD, ER, inpatient patients- and suggest ideas or improvement projects to minimize this leakage& improve units’ referrals on a monthly basis.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor degree of Pharmaceutical Sciences from accredited university.
Experience:10 years combined experience in pharmacy chains& hospital pharmacies.Minimum 5 years’ experience in managerial position.
