Job Description
- For the first month, working hours will be from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Thereafter, the schedule will shift to 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
- Prepare, dispense, and distribute veterinary medicines in accordance with prescriptions.
- Advise veterinarians and animal healthcare providers on appropriate drug usage, dosages, and potential side effects.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of veterinary pharmaceuticals.
- Monitor drug inventories and place orders to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Stay updated with local and international regulations on veterinary drug use.
- Participate in pharmacovigilance activities and report adverse drug reactions.
- Provide training and support to veterinary teams on pharmaceutical best practices.
- Ensure all documentation and record-keeping comply with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies for product registration and approvals (if in regulatory affairs).
- Support R&D or QA/QC teams in the development and testing of veterinary medicines (if applicable).
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Strong knowledge of animal physiology and pharmacology.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience in the veterinary pharmaceutical industry is a plus
