What Does This Role Involve?

As part of a dynamic, multi-skilled, and small team, your responsibilities as Electrical Draftsman

• Job Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and produce various trade drawings, shop drawings, and details for electrical and low-current disciplines.
2. Utilize AUTOCAD and Revit software for electrical and low-current drawings.
3. AutoCAD Drafting of complete Electrical works including small power, lighting layout, power layout, fire alarm, telephone, access control, CCTV, MATV, lightning protection, and other works like Quantity take off.
4. Prepare engineering drawings (Shop Drawings, Builders Works Drawings, MEP Coordination Drawings, “AS-Built” Drawings, etc.), that details plans and specifications, and bills of materials. Drawings include physical design such as cable tray, raceway/conduits, lighting, and grounding as well as single line diagrams and schematics/wiring diagrams.
5. Generate drawings based on written instructions, calculations, and equations provided by Engineers.
6. Support Engineers with tasks such as proposal drawings, shop drawings, and As-Built Drawings.
7. Review technical drafts as needed according to verbal or written instructions from project managers, engineering team, consultants, and clients.
8. Maintain strong team relationships by closely collaborating with the project team.
9. Coordinate document contributions to customers, job sites, and vendors while managing drawing files.
10. Perform other duties and miscellaneous responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
