Job Description
- Identifying prospective clients.
- Planning sales visits.
- Presenting formwork and scaffolding system services (rental or project-based) supported by catalogs and previous experience.
- Securing contracts (for rental services, formwork installation projects, or scaffolding projects).
- Analyzing the project (and its designs) to determine its requirements for formwork and/or scaffolding systems.
- Providing guidance in preparing the initial designs for formwork and/or scaffolding systems.
- Participating in the preparation of quantitative bill of quantities for project bids.
- Assisting in selecting the most economically viable formwork and/or scaffolding systems for the project and exploring alternative options within available budgets.
- Reviewing the shop drawings for formwork and/or scaffolding systems.
- Evaluating the preparation of the project's Method of Statement.
- Reviewing the comprehensive technical proposal.
- Reviewing the comprehensive financial proposal.
- Coordinating with design engineers and collaborating with them during the preparation of the technical and financial proposals.
- Overseeing contract execution, delivery, and returns.
- Monitoring invoices (and payment certificates) and managing collection processes.
- Supporting initiatives to enhance the company’s brand image among its clients.
- Supervising the preparation, development, and management of an effective and efficient system for technical and administrative reports within the department.
Job Requirements
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university – preferably with a graduation project focused on either steel or reinforced concrete structures.
Experience
- At least 5–7 years of relevant work experience.
Training Courses
- A course in Negotiation
- A course in the Sales Process
