Job Description
- Design & Drafting: Create detailed design and fabrication drawings for steel structures and components.
- Structural Analysis: Analyze structural requirements and ensure designs meet building codes and standards.
- Material Selection: Choose appropriate materials and steel grades based on project needs.
- Connection Design: Develop detailed connection drawings, including welds and bolts.
- Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate designs with project plans.
- Fabrication Drawings: Produce accurate drawings for the manufacturing of steel components.
- Field Support: Provide support during construction, including resolving design issues and inspecting workmanship.
- Software Utilization: Use design software such as AutoCAD or Tekla Structures for drafting and modeling.
