Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Team Leader – Steel Detailing to join our Cairo office. In this role, you will supervise a team of steel detailers, coordinate project delivery across global teams, and ensure quality and accuracy of structural steel models and drawings using Tekla Structures and related tools.
You will serve as the technical and operational lead for your team, working closely with engineering managers in the United States, Poland, and Canada to meet project goals and client expectations.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in structural steel detailing.
Minimum 3 years in a team lead or supervisory position.
Strong expertise in Tekla Structures (required); AutoCAD or SDS/2 is a plus.
Deep understanding of steel fabrication, shop practices, and erection workflows.
Proven ability to manage teams, meet deadlines, and deliver large-scale projects.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); strong communication skills.
Ability to work with global teams across different time zones.
