Job Description
- Follow up on the progress of daily maintenance operations (preventive-corrective), arrange and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Planning and supervising the implementation of installation operations and new projects.
- Conducting a monthly analysis of machine malfunctions and identifying sources of problems and finding radical solutions for them and discussing them with the head of the department.
- Implementing the preventive maintenance plan by following up with technicians and the supervisor of the mechanical department and ensuring the quality of implementation.
- Working to maintain the required performance standards for the department KPI’S.
- Implementing the predictive maintenance plan and contributing to its development.
- Following up on spare parts consumption rates and conducting a monthly analysis of them and developing a plan to rationalize consumption and control costs.
- Making purchase orders for spare parts in the mechanical department and maintaining the stock balance according to the permissible limit.
- Update the spare parts list for each machine (Machine Spare Part List), Provide solutions that help develop and facilitate production processes/workflow.
- Contribute to reducing operating expenses by providing suggestions that help save and reduce operating costs (materials, labor, energy).
- Implement a production line maintenance plan during shutdown. (Shut Down maintenance)
- Follow up with contractors (external companies) in implementing the mechanical works assigned to them and technical receipt of the works.
- Participate in evaluating the condition of the equipment.
- Conduct an evaluation and training for the work team to develop a training plan based on the evaluation.
- Commitment to 5S standards and occupational health and safety in the workplace and ensuring that employees adhere to them and working to resolve internal audit observations.
- Perform other administrative tasks related to the work team (monthly incentives..)
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 to 5 years of proven work experience in mechanical maintenance engineering (Hydraulic & Pneumatic).
- Familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ProE or other)
- Solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science etc.
- Problem Solving skills
- Creativity and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner
- Technical writing and planning skills
