Job Description
- Manage the recruitment and selection process for all levels of positions within the organization, including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
- Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding activities, including preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, employee handbooks, and other HR-related documents, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Manage employee relations issues, including investigating complaints, mediating disputes, and facilitating resolution to maintain a positive work environment and promote employee morale and engagement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, HRIS data, and other HR-related documentation, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and regulations.
- Assist in the development and delivery of HR training programs, including orientation sessions, compliance training, and professional development initiatives, to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Support HR compliance efforts, including monitoring changes in employment laws and regulations, updating policies and procedures accordingly, and ensuring adherence to legal requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and legal, to support HR initiatives and provide HR expertise and guidance as needed.
- Assist in HR reporting and analytics, including preparing HR metrics and reports, analyzing trends, and identifying areas for improvement or intervention.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in HR management, and make recommendations for process improvements or enhancements to support the organization's HR strategy and objectives.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the real estate or construction industries.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations, with knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements.
- Experience in recruitment, including sourcing, interviewing, and selection processes, with the ability to attract and retain top talent in a competitive market.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office applications, with the ability to generate reports and analyze data to support HR decision-making.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs, with a proactive and customer-focused approach to HR service delivery.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with a desire to stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in HR management.
