Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Local Purchasing Specialist to manage the procurement process for local suppliers. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective purchasing, maintain relationships with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products and materials in compliance with company policies.
Job Responsibilities:
Source and evaluate local suppliers to obtain the best quality and prices.
Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers to secure competitive offers.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials to meet project deadlines.
Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., production, quality) to assess product needs.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast future demand to prevent supply shortages.
Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve any issues related to delays or damaged goods.
Stay updated on market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier innovations.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Proven experience of 3-5 years in local purchasing or procurement.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of relevant legal regulations and market conditions.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in FMCG , Cosmetics. Pharma Industry
Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.
Required experience in purchasing packaging materials and printed items
