About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Marketing to lead and execute our marketing strategy, driving growth and brand recognition within the food processing machinery industry. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of B2B marketing, the food processing sector, and a proven track record of success in generating leads and building brand equity. The Head of Marketing will be responsible for developing and implementing integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, managing a team, and collaborating closely with sales and product development.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute a comprehensive marketing plan aligned with company objectives, targeting specific customer segments within the food processing industry.
- Develop and maintain a strong brand identity and messaging that differentiates the company from competitors and resonates with target audiences. Oversee all brand communications and ensure consistency across all platforms.
- Lead and manage all digital marketing activities, including SEO/SEM, social media marketing, content marketing, email marketing, and website management. Analyze performance metrics and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
- Oversee the development of high-quality content, including case studies, white papers, blog posts, brochures, videos, and website content, to support marketing initiatives and thought leadership.
- Develop and implement lead generation strategies to attract qualified leads for the sales team. Track and analyze lead generation metrics and optimize campaigns for conversion.
- Manage the creation and production of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, trade show displays, and other promotional items.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform marketing strategies and product development.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Work closely with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals and provide sales support materials.
- Plan and execute participation in industry trade shows, conferences, and other events to generate leads and build brand awareness.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the food processing or related industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices.
- Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and manage a team.
- Experience managing marketing budgets.
- Knowledge of the food processing industry and its key players is a significant advantage.
