Job Description
• Lead the development of structural drawings and collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure an integrated design approach.
• Work directly with general contractors to determine both functional and technical requirements for new structures, preparing detailed information including design specifications, materials, bills of quantities, and construction timelines.
• Develop unified design solutions by integrating various engineering elements and submit designs for client review and approval.
• Create scaled structural drawings and contract documents to support the construction team.
• Perform in-depth structural analysis, prepare design reports, and deliver structural studies to meet project needs.
• Utilize structural design software such as ETABS, SAFE, and SAP2000; proficiency with Prokon is required. Experience with AutoCAD is essential, and knowledge of Revit is highly valued.
Job Requirements
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in structural engineering, with a strong track record in designing and managing large-scale projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience with CAD software (SolidWorks knowledge is an added advantage).
• Strong grasp of international engineering codes and standards, including those from Egypt, the USA, or Great Britain.
• Highly proficient in structural analysis software including ETABS, SAFE, and SAP2000, as well as Excel for calculations and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects and ensure compliance with engineering best practices.
• Fluent in English, with excellent communication and reporting skills (both oral and written).
