Job Description
- Develop detailed structural designs for buildings and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Perform structural analysis using advanced engineering software to assess the integrity and safety of proposed designs.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Participate in project meetings, presenting design concepts and addressing client feedback effectively.
- Ensure all designs adhere to relevant codes, regulations, and sustainability best practices.
- Assist in preparing project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules for new and ongoing projects.
- Continuously research and implement innovative materials, methods, and technologies to enhance structural performance.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in structural design engineering.
- Proven expertise in structural analysis and design for a variety of building types and infrastructure projects.
- Strong proficiency with industry-standard engineering software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality technical drawings and documentation.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience conducting site inspections and resolving construction-related issues.
