Job Description
- BIM Strategy Development: Develop and implement BIM strategies, standards, and workflows in alignment with organizational or project goals.
- Information Management: Define workflows, protocols, and processes for BIM integration across projects.
- Standards and Compliance: Establish and enforce BIM standards in accordance with ISO standards, templates, and guidelines in accordance with international codes.
- Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration through regular coordination meetings and digital platforms.
- Project Delivery and Performance: Ensure timely delivery of BIM-related project outputs, including 3D models, documentation, and data for asset management.
- Problem Solving: Develop solutions to technical challenges, ensuring minimal impact on project schedules and budgets.
- Provide training sessions for project teams and support team members with technical challenges and ensure the effective use of BIM software.
- Enforce compliance with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), project protocols, and industry standards.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in BIM Software such as Revit, Navisworks, Telka Structures, Bentley Systems, or other related tools.
- Knowledge of CAD software and its integration with BIM tools.
- Understanding of 3D modeling, 4D Scheduling, and 5D cost management in the BIM context.
- Familiarity with BIM standards such as ISO 19650 or BS 1192
- Strong Leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to coordinate between different project teams (Architects, engineers, contactors) and ensure BIM standards are followed.
- Experience in developing and enforcing BIM Execution plans.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Ability to train and mentor staff on BIM processes and tools.
- Strong understanding of construction workflow and how BIM integrates with project management, procurement, and operations.
- Ability to implement new technologies and methodologies that improve the efficiency and quality of BIM processes.
- BIM Manager Certification from organizations like RICS, BuildingSMART, or AIA.
- Certification in Revit, Navisworks, or other BIM tools.
