Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Purchasing Manager in overseeing the procurement of food, beverage, and related supplies for the business.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms for quality products.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all purchases, contracts, and inventory.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder products as needed to ensure continuous supply without overstocking.
  • Work closely with the food and beverage teams to understand their needs and ensure the timely delivery of goods.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements for purchasing and supplier contracts.
  • Track and manage purchase orders, ensuring the timely delivery of products within budget.
  • Evaluate supplier performance based on product quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
  • Assist with controlling purchasing costs and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Coordinate with the finance department to ensure accurate payment processing and invoice verification.
  • Participate in supplier meetings, product evaluations, and vendor negotiations.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management, preferably in the Food & Beverage industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and cost control practices.
  • Familiarity with purchasing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
