Job Description

• Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure adherence to industry standards and customer requirements.
• Establish quality control processes, conduct inspections, and perform audits to monitor product quality and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and R&D teams to implement quality improvement initiatives, such as Six Sigma or Lean methodologies.
• Manage customer feedback and complaints, conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and enforce health and safety policies, procedures, and programs to create a safe working environment.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and job safety analyses to mitigate workplace hazards.
• Establish safety training programs and provide education to employees on safe work practices.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying causes and implementing measures to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and promote a safety culture throughout the organization.
• Develop and implement environmental management systems to minimize the environmental impact of operations.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and certifications.
• Identify opportunities for energy conservation, waste reduction, and recycling initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable practices and promote environmental awareness among employees.
• Conduct internal audits to assess QHSE compliance, identify non-conformities, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate external audits and certifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Stay updated on relevant regulations, laws, and industry best practices, and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.
• Manage and maintain QHSE documentation, records, and reporting systems.
• Develop and deliver QHSE training programs to educate employees on quality, health, safety, and environmental practices.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning, providing resources and tools to facilitate QHSE knowledge and awareness.
• Conduct QHSE-related communication and awareness campaigns to engage employees at all levels of the organization.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure QHSE performance and track progress.
• Analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings to management, highlighting areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.
• Participate in management reviews to provide QHSE insights and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in QHSE management, preferably in a manufacturing or glass processing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of QHSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001).
• Strong understanding of occupational health and safety principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Certification in relevant QHSE disciplines (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, Quality Auditor) is advantageous.
