Job Description
- Lead and conduct HSE induction programs for all site personnel and subcontractors, ensuring full compliance with company safety standards and local regulations.
- Supervise the preparation and submission of daily, weekly, and monthly HSE performance reports to management, highlighting trends, deviations, and action plans.
- Review and validate risk assessments, method statements, and work permits for all activities across the site to ensure hazards are identified, assessed, and mitigated appropriately.
- Investigate and report all incidents, accidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions, and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Immediately stop and control any unsafe acts or high-risk operations on-site in coordination with concerned departments and escalate critical issues to top management.
- Lead and facilitate regular safety meetings, toolbox talks, and behavioral safety observations to enhance safety culture.
- Conduct internal HSE audits and site inspections to ensure compliance with corporate HSE management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, etc.).
- Develop, update, and implement HSE procedures, emergency response plans, and technical instructions in collaboration with the HSE Manager.
- Coordinate with department heads on hazard identification, risk control, incident analysis, and implementation of improvement actions.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and training sessions for junior HSE officers and site supervisors on best practices and safety leadership.
- Support the implementation of environmental controls and sustainability initiatives as part of the HSE function.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and third parties on HSE requirements, documentation, and site audits.
Job Requirements
Requirements – Senior Site Reliability Engineer:
Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or in a similar role focused on infrastructure, system reliability, and automation.
Strong ability to collaborate effectively across distributed teams, with excellent asynchronous communication skills.
Passion for documentation-first culture – you believe in writing things down clearly to reduce repeated effort and enable knowledge sharing.
Proactive, self-driven mindset with a go-for-it attitude, always ready to take ownership and drive improvements.
Relevant academic background and/or industry certifications in SRE, DevOps, cloud infrastructure (e.g., Google SRE Cert, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKAD, Terraform Associate).
Experience with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana), CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
Deep understanding of system design, incident response, and resilience engineering principles.
