Job Description
- Develop and Maintain HSE Management System
Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Management System, including all relevant documentation and procedures. - Project HSE Planning
Prepare comprehensive HSE plans, risk assessments, and other required documentation for specific projects in compliance with client and regulatory requirements. - Risk Assessment Collaboration
Collaborate with technical departments to assist in the preparation and review of job-specific risk assessments, ensuring all hazards are identified and mitigated. - Internal Audits
Conduct regular internal HSE audits to ensure compliance with ISO 45001 standards and identify opportunities for improvement. - Regulatory Compliance Monitoring
Stay informed of legal and regulatory changes affecting health, safety, and employee welfare; ensure timely integration of such changes into company policies and practices. - Staff Competency Monitoring
Monitor and ensure the validity of technical staff competencies, including training certifications, medical clearances, licenses, and other relevant qualifications. - Asset Compliance Oversight
Ensure the validity and compliance of company assets such as scaffolding, equipment, tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE), in accordance with safety standards. - Site Support and Supervision
Provide leadership and support to site HSE Officers through regular site visits, performance reviews, and on-site guidance to ensure effective HSE implementation. - Additional HSE Responsibilities
Undertake any other duties related to health, safety, and environmental management as required by the company.
Job Requirements
- Experience: 1–3 years of professional experience in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) roles, preferably within the construction industry.
- Industry Background: Prior involvement in construction projects, particularly fast-track projects, is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Certifications: IOSH, OSHA Management, Risk Assessment,
(Not Mandatory): ISO 45001, NEBOSH - Language: Good level of English
