Job Description
-Develop and implement site-specific health and safety plans.
-Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
-Investigate incidents and near misses, providing recommendations to prevent recurrence.
-Deliver safety induction, training and toolbox talks for all workers in the site.
-Ensure workers are trained on emergency response procedures, include evacuation, first aid , fire drill,…etc.
-Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations.
-Maintain safety records and prepare reports for management.
-Monitor and enforce the correct use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
-Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety into all activities.
-Perform daily inspection of the construction site, checking for hazards and unsafe work practices; ensure safe equipment use and verifying compliance with safety protocols.
-Preparing all risk assessment documents for all activities on-site.
-Foster safety – first culture within the construction team, promoting team ---work communication, and proactive safety practice.
-Preparing all required documentation on-site, including work permits, lifting plans, and MSDS,…etc.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
-2-4 years of relevant experience
-Familiar with computer and related software including MS Office
-Strong understanding of construction site hazards, safety regulations and environment requirements.
-Strong knowledge of local safety laws and construction regulations.
-Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Familiarity with Emergency response producers such as Such as confined spaces.
