Job Description

The role:

  • You will be reporting to the CIO and acting as a key liaison between the tech team and other wider functions of the business. 

Responsibilities:

  • While specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the company’s changing needs, the following provides an overview of the role’s key responsibilities and measures:
  • Providing key administrative and business support to the CIO, including organising meetings whilst ensuring optimal use of the CIO’s time, setting up reminders, and managing schedules to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Keeping excellent records of meetings and decisions made as appropriate.
  • Acting as the front of house of the technology team, feeding information through to project delivery and ensuring the correct level of requirements and actions have been undertaken.
  • Building and developing an effective working relationship between the technology team and other teams to communicate the needs of the business.
  • Managing the relationship between vendors and third parties.
  • Monitoring and reporting on project delivery in accordance with the project timeline.
  • Organising the tech team and task allocation under the direct supervision of the CIO.
  • Working under the direct supervision of the CIO to compile documentation.
  • Regular reporting on consumption, cost, and budgeting within the technology team.
  • To undertake specific project work and any other duties appropriate as required by the CIO.

Job Requirements

Skills and Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is essential
  • Experience of working closely with the senior leadership of organisations and a deep understanding of business support
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Responsive in a fast-changing environment; resilience & willingness to challenge
  • Flexibility, ability to plan and organise
  • Ability to demonstrate strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills to all levels of seniority and disciplines within the organisation
