Job Description
- Develop operational policies for procurement, logistics, and Planning.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure the most advantageous terms.
- Review and manage the activities of the purchasing department to ensure alignment with the company’s business goals.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring sufficient stock levels, and reducing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Plan and implement logistical strategies, ensuring efficient storage and distribution operations.
- Enhance product workflow by analyzing and developing key delivery processes, overseeing the movement, distribution, and storage of supplies and finished goods.
- Develop and maintain detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company, at sites, and in the warehouses.
- Manage customer service activities including order entry, customer satisfaction, interface with sales, production, regulatory, and quality that impacts the customer.
- Implement new technologies and stay alert to new trends in the sector to keep the business at the forefront of developments in logistics management.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager, or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes including inventory and demand management, and manufacturing constraints.
- Strong understanding of financial metrics including budgeting and forecasting.
- Experience with supply chain management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, analytics, negotiation and statistical analysis abilities.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to lead and manage a team.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in English.
