The Role: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented individual who will lead Business Strategy and Growth. As a Senior Business Strategy Leader, you will be responsible for meeting, leading and building strategy to meet Business Growth. The candidate will possess a proven track record in Business Development and Growth within the Tech and AI Industry and a strategic mindset to navigate complex markets.

You’ll dive deep into market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory developments building a global view of customer needs and industry players positioning to support the development of the Quanvex strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform research and gather data about customers’ needs and roadmaps, competitors’ positioning, and market conditions with focus on Tech and AI market segment.
  • Develop processes to gather information such as customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying behaviors using a variety of methods, such as interviews, questionnaires, voice of customer sessions, market analysis surveys, publicly available information, and literature reviews.
  • Convert complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports to drive decisions.
  • Develop global heat map, profit pools and ecosystem for Tech and AI Industry, identify market trends and lead healthy debates to drive business strategy.
  • Monitor and forecast technology and industry trends and propose actions to adjust strategic direction based on data analysis.
  • Roll out and lead market assessment process and compilation.
  • Utilizes product and market knowledge to identify prospective customers for selling.
  • Have knowledge and analytical thinking to support in building the strategy for penetrating in new market space.
  • Source of market information like market price, competition landscape, vendor base etc.
  • Have ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address market demand.
  • Uses internal and external sources for product and market intelligence.
  • Identify and define a portfolio of potential customers and engage with them to expand the customer base.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to understand client needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Perform mega trends analysis in combination with deep market research into relevant sectors to identify potential growth drivers.
  • Participate in scenario development, analysis and benchmarking internal scenario with external parties to drive higher quality, critical thinking.
  • Participate in building the analytical framework/model to facilitate portfolio analysis and portfolio management plan in collaboration with the Business Development team.
  • Develop market segmentation and value chain models, financial models, to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Distill strategic insights from rigorous data backed analysis to identify and prioritize organic and inorganic business opportunities to expand into adjacencies , enter new markets/products and/or complement existing offerings
  • Create and maintain a strong network of subject matter experts across key technology areas to allow an efficient channeling of requests, screening of potential investments and red team/blue team reviews of technology programs.
  • Support Enterprise-level Hoshin Kanri to deepen ‘whitespace’ growth domains with particular focus to assist with opportunity prioritization & maturation and technology commercialization options.

Job Requirements

Required Qualification & Experrience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or other related field 
  • Minimum 8+ experience in similar role.
  • Significant leadership experience in Business Development and Growth in Tech & AI Industry
  • English proficiency required 
  • Proven track record of Business Development success and building out new markets/customer.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 50-60%.
  • Experience in data analysis tools such as excel data modelling, Phyton would be an asset

  • Knowledge of the Tech industry or similar operations and services business models 
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment, influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve a unified goal  
  • Lean or six sigma certified 
  • Entrepreneurial nature with a passion for bringing technology to market
  • Expertise advising startups and managing a startup portfolio
  • Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills, ability to operate and communicate at senior business levels
  • Strong external energy VC network
  • Strong team player with ability to build relationships quickly
