Job Description

  1. Assist in identifying new projects and business opportunities coming up in the market to initiate sales lead.
  2. Maintain a close contact with existing clients to build trust and loyalty.
  3. Develop and maintain a close contact with new accounts to understand their needs and inform relevant departments for future considerations. 
  4. Draft technical and financial proposals for contractors aligned with their specifications and BOQ (Bill of Quantities), to participate in new project biddings and profitable business opportunities. 
  5. Participate in negotiations and meetings with developers to discuss products, availability of approved products, final price, discounts, etc. to reach an agreement and proceed with the sales. 
  6. Follow up on the delivery of the approved products from the time of setting the purchase order to delivering it and handle any relevant documents to ensure accuracy and timeliness and to maintain a good brand image to the developer. 
  7. Monitor competitors’ activities and practices to introduce products and prices that match the market thus facilitate winning the bids on projects more effectively.
  8. Participate in Resolving problems faced when participating in new projects in coordination with the direct supervisor; to ensure that the organization stands in a good position and has an edge to win the bids. 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering or Fine Arts or Applied arts is required.
  • 0-3 years of relevant work experience is a must.
  • Electronic Mail Software — Email software; Microsoft Outlook 
  • Internet Browser Software — Microsoft Internet Explorer   
  • Office Suite Software — Microsoft WordMicrosoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Problem Solving — Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Coordination — Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions.
  • Negotiation — Bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences.
  • Persuasion — Persuading others to change their minds or behaviour.
