Job Description
- Follow-up of the returns to suppliers and negotiate the withdrawal of combinations and replacement of stagnant ones to achieve the greatest possible benefit.
- Evaluate suppliers periodically to ensure the ability of suppliers to meet the company's requirements of products on time and in the required quantity.
- Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers and review quality of purchased products.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and monitoring stock levels.
- Making the best purchasing decisions in terms of quality, cost and delivery based on the company’s policy, strategy, target and external factors.
- Observing the whole purchasing process (order placement, price negotiation, PI confirmation, production & shipment follow up, payment) from management perspective to make sure all procedures being moved forward smoothly on time.
- Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising purchasing department, and allocating required tasks for the team and providing trainings to them if needed.
Job Requirements
- Experience in the field of home appliances from 2 to 5 years in the same position.
- Microsoft Office.
- Strong leadership capabilities.
- A knack for negotiation and networking.
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management.
- BS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration.
- Males Only.
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors).
