Decision-Making and Authority
- Issue detailed technical submittals.
- Review and approve technical submittals prepared by the assigned AE I team.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Support AE I members.
- Assist Component Design teams in implementing custom piping solutions.
- Attend meetings with Clients/End users/Consultants to discuss project design requirements, technical recommendations and solutions, product optimization, and guidance.
- Lead-to-Order Phase:
- Review and assist with Application Engineering submittals prepared by the AE I team.
- Issue detailed Application Engineering submittals.
- Prepare Technical Comments on all Key End User and Client specifications.
- Attend meetings with Clients to discuss project design requirements.
- Coordinate with the Costing Department to understand the cost impact of the various product options and to select the most cost-effective and optimized product.
- Maintain knowledge of the local unit production tooling and availability of products, mandrels, and molds.
- Provide product selection recommendations to the Sales Department.
- Provide Answering all technical questions raised by the Client, Sales, Production, QC, and Site Services Departments.
- Project Execution Phase:
- Perform a technical review of received Sales Orders to ensure the proper product selection and execution.
- Assist the AE I team in issuing the Production System Summary and updating detailed Application Engineering submittals to accurately reflect the latest Bill of Quantity and purchase order documents.
- Define the qualification requirements of Glass Fiber composite products for ongoing projects.
- Review the qualification requirements and issue the qualification test plan.
- Assist the Unit Application Engineers to ensure the successful execution of the project.
- Track and monitor the proper document-controlling system.

Years and Position of Experience - 2 - 4 years as AE I or equivalent
