Job Description
- Translate business needs to technical specifications
- Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g. MicroStrategy)
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
- Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
- Develop and update technical documentation
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as a BI Developer.
- Professional training in Microsoft Power BI (preferably from the Information Technology Institute).
- Industry experience (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modelling) and data mining techniques.
- Familiarity with BI technologies, particularly Microsoft Power BI.
- Proficient in SQL queries and tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and innovate.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
