Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Technical Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in D365 F&O technical development and customization. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions that align with client business needs, while ensuring best practices and compliance with Microsoft standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop custom solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations using X++, .NET, and other Microsoft technologies.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, solution architects, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs.
- Customize and extend standard features of D365 F&O modules (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, etc.).
- Perform system integrations with external systems using OData, REST APIs, Data Entities, and Power Platform tools.
- Provide technical leadership throughout project life cycles, including development, deployment, testing, and post-go-live support.
- Participate in code reviews, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and deployment scripts.
- Stay updated on the latest Dynamics 365 features, updates, and Microsoft best practices.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of technical experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX / Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate (or relevant certification).
- Strong development experience in X++, SQL Server, Azure DevOps, and LCS.
- Proficiency with data migration techniques, integrations, and reporting (SSRS, Power BI).
- Familiarity with Azure services such as Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Application Insights.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in multi-country, multi-currency implementation projects.
- Knowledge of D365 upgrades, hotfixes, and release management.
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
- Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD processes for D365 F&O.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
