Job Description
- Review the daily stock report and ensure timely sharing with relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed analysis reports on stock ageing and fast-moving items.
- Coordinate with the Business Manager to monitor and follow up on the Purchase Order (PO) plan.
- Share updates on sales performance, stock availability, and sell-out data with internal teams and external vendors.
- Develop comprehensive sales reports and track ongoing marketing activities.
- Calculate the Gross Profit (GP) on a daily basis, leveraging financial expertise for accurate reporting and analysis.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present data findings.
- Work with different teams to understand data needs and optimize data solutions.
- Develop an automated system to track price changes and maintain a real-time competitive pricing database.
- Analyze vendor pricing data and provide actionable insights to help the seller operations team negotiate better deals.
- Identify trends in supply and demand to support strategic procurement decisions.
- Build and maintain dashboards for different business units to track KPIs, including pricing trends, sales performance, and trade-in efficiency.
- Assist with general data-related tasks across departments, ensuring decisions are backed by strong data insights.
Job Requirements
- Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
