Job Description
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and execution of complex data analysis projects, identifying trends, patterns, and actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Perform advanced exploratory data analysis using tools such as Python, or SQL.
- Develop and implement statistical models and predictive analytics to solve business challenges.
- Build and refine data models, including forecasting and trend analysis, to predict outcomes and optimize processes.
- Develop and evaluate predictive models using machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering).
- Design and maintain complex dashboards and interactive visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Present findings through clear, concise, and impactful reports tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Automate reporting processes to ensure timely delivery of insights to stakeholders.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and operations, to identify analytical requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Translate business needs into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and insights.
- Provide guidance to junior analysts on data analysis techniques, best practices, and tools.
- Review and validate work from team members to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Support the development of a knowledge-sharing culture within the team.
- Identify inefficiencies in current data workflows and recommend improvements to streamline processes.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in data analysis, machine learning, and visualization tools, and implement relevant innovations.
- Contribute to the creation of reusable data science assets and frameworks for the organization.
- Ensure adherence to data governance policies, security standards, and ethical practices in all analytical workflows.
- Monitor and improve data quality to maintain the integrity of datasets used for analysis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, or a related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis, modeling, and visualization.
- Proven track record of delivering actionable insights and solutions to business problems
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying and managing large datasets.
- Expertise in Python, including libraries such as pandas, NumPy, matplotlib, and scikit-learn.
- Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools for creating dynamic dashboards and reports.
- Strong understanding of statistical techniques, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling.
- Experience with machine learning techniques such as regression, classification, clustering, and feature engineering.
- Basic understanding of ETL processes and familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent communication skills to present complex findings clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about business challenges.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines with high-quality deliverables.
- Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members.
- Ability to foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Familiarity with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
- Exposure to advanced machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is advantageous but not required
