Job Description
1. Quantity Take-Offs:
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Measure and calculate material, labor, and equipment quantities accurately.
2. Cost Estimation:
- Prepare cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for project bidding and execution.
- Update BOQs based on design changes and variations.
3. Valuation & Payments:
- Prepare and verify interim payment applications for subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assess variations, claims, and prepare necessary cost adjustments.
4. Tendering & Contracts:
- Assist in preparing tender documents, including pricing and cost breakdowns
- Review and analyze contractor and supplier offers for cost efficiency.
5. Project Monitoring:
- Monitor and track project budgets to ensure alignment with cost forecasts.
- Report on cost performance, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.
6. Coordination: - Coordinate with technical office teams, site engineers, and procurement departments for accurate cost management.
- Liaise with consultants and clients to address any discrepancies.
7. Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all quantity surveying activities, including cost reports and logs.
- Provide regular updates to project management on financial progress.
Job Requirements
1. Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
2. Experience:

3. Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and cost management software (e.g., Primavera, Candy, or CostX).
