Job Description

  • Act as the main focal point with Authorities.
  • Lead internally the preparation of HI’s file for the renewal of registration. Liaise with the Ministry for all formalities, requirements and submission.
  • Lead audits from Authorities and ensure timely submission of required documents.
  • Develop work plans, MoUs and other reports required by Authorities, including timely submission of periodic reports. Ensure follow-up with Authorities for these documents.
  • Prepare and disseminate minutes of external meetings.
  • Ensure coordination with authorities is sufficiently included as part of project planning and implementation phases, including revision/ratification of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)s and projects’ approval. Submit and follow-up requests for approvals for HI’s activities including agreements.
  • Coordinate the completion of due diligence for all sub-awards and local partnerships, and support other departments for assessment, analysis and follow-up.
  • Ensure quality partnership management, including drafting agreements, sub-grant start-up, follow-up of action plans and recommendations, tracking of deliverable, compiling reporting, monitoring visits, database, sub-award close-out etc.
  • Support the HR department in obtaining permits for the foreign staff. Ensure processes and formalities are followed on time.
  • Organize and coordinate visits of Authorities and donors to HI’s projects

Job Requirements

Education:

  • Degree in management, development or any related field

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years work experience with NGOs
  • 2 years’ experience in a coordination and a liaison role
  • Knowledge of local legislation and laws
  • Experience in sub-grants management
