Job Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Foreign Purchasing Specialist located in Alexandria, Egypt. The Senior Foreign Purchasing Specialist is responsible for managing all purchasing processes and activities, including creating and maintaining purchase orders, evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials. Key tasks also include performing market research, analyzing purchasing data, and developing strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Experience with Purchasing Processes, Purchasing, and Purchase Orders
- Proficiency in Purchase Management and creating Purchase Orders
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in foreign purchasing
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
