- Introduction:
We are actively seeking to recruit a Business Development Manager to identify and pursue Telecommunications & ICT consulting project opportunities throughout USA.
Position Overview:
This key position will provide necessary and ongoing Business Development support to the main partners in the firm.
The Role:
- Responsible for identifying opportunities for growth with key accounts (i.e., municipalities, government entities, major US carrier, etc.) at the senior level of management.
- Establishing a long term relationships with senior level management to secure consulting opportunities in the entire ICT ecosystem with focus on 5G and its smart use cases.
- This key position will be the driving role for large deals with key customers in US.
- Expected to provide guidance and support to the technical team throughout the project phases.
Responsibilities:
- Grow Customer Acquisition and Capture New Customers
- Grow existing customer base
- Design and implement customer acquisition programs
- Review new customer acquisition on monthly basis and highlight insights and recommendations for improvements
- Quantitative and qualitative Market Analysis. Assessment of market size both in volume and in value.
- Assessment of various customer segments, the competition, and the economic environment in terms of barriers to entry and regulation.
- Identifies and drives the development of new market opportunities in the ICT market
- Analyzes and understands the market and the client’s needs (technical and non-technical)
- Provide/present the Scope of Work for each client with a description of the solution, key contacts, proposed dates/phases, and any other information.
- Develop innovative ICT solutions, collaborate with the technical team and represent the organization at the customer side.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors in Telecommunications, Computer or ICT Engineering Degree from AUC or GUC
- 2+ years of experience in account management, market research projects, and Business
- Experience with business development and/or sales with at least one major US carrier or regional carriers.
- Fluent English Language Preferably American Accent.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers.
- Relationship-building approach to business development
- Development in the Telecommunications & ICT Domains.
- Previous experience in Telecom or ICT preferred
- Experience communicating with decision-makers at large & medium enterprises
- Capability to think ‘outside of the box’ to identify innovative and feasible solution/service options
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
