Job Description
Are you ready to take your logistics expertise to the next level?
We’re looking for a highly skilled and presentable Export Logistics Officer or Section Head to join our growing operations. You will play a key role in managing the end-to-end export logistics process for our high-voltage cable shipments to Africa, the MENA region, and beyond — via air, sea, or land transport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee all export logistics operations for international shipments (land, sea, and air).
- Collaborate closely with the Procurement Department and the Export Director to ensure seamless logistics execution.
- Manage shipping documentation, customs clearance, freight forwarding, and regulatory compliance for multiple countries.
- Ensure timely delivery and cost optimization across all outbound supply chain activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with freight agents, customs brokers, and transport companies.
- Track shipments, monitor KPIs, and resolve any logistics issues proactively.
- Ensure export operations align with international trade regulations and Incoterms.
- Support strategic projects related to new markets or logistics process improvements.
Job Requirements
- 6 to 7 years of experience in logistics or export operations, preferably within the cable manufacturing industry or heavy industrial exports.
- Solid knowledge of international shipping (Africa & MENA regions preferred).
- Strong experience with export documentation, customs, and freight handling.
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
- SAP proficiency is a strong asset.
- Highly presentable, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
- Strong coordination, follow-up, and communication skills.
