Overview

This role is based in the Longulf Egypt office. Longulf Egypt is Longulf Trading UK Ltd.’s regional office in Cairo – Egypt. The group office in London is experienced in procurement of production lines for the FMCG Industry, Cement Machinery, Captive Power Plants, Diesel Generator Sets, Electrical Cables and Warehouse Equipment.

 

Our main focus here is to develop an Engineering Product based business. We are seeking an individual to join our successful company to assist growth in new and existing customers overseas in Egypt region.

 

Key deliverables (Essential duties and responsibilities)

  • Search new leads from within the country and the MENA region
  • Developing long term relationships with prospective customers through managing and interpreting their requirements
  • Understanding the customer requirements of technical specifications, quality, price and other measurable
  •  Provide vital inputs to the teams in UK for sourcing such products
  • Assist in developing strategies for marketing products. Sales Channels Vs Direct Marketing
  • Prepare Reports for the Management
  • Prepare Sales Forecasts and Budgets
  • Meet Sales Targets and Co-ordinate Sales
  • Make Technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets the customer’s requirements.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

The ideal candidate would have worked as a Sales Engineer and must have a good understanding of Engineering Process Equipment, Power Generation Equipment, Warehouse Equipment and Production Lines.

•     Degree in Engineering Discipline with additional qualifications in Business Administration.

•     Experience minimum 3 years plus in a business development function

  • Be reliable and diligent, with good attention to detail.

•    Self-motivation to work independently and as part of a team with a ‘can do’ attitude

•     A positive approach to working under pressure in a busy environment

•    Methodical approach to tasks and problem solving

  • International cultural empathy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business work ethic, positive attitude and professional behaviour at all times
  • Must own car and the company offer car allowance.
