Job Description
- Awareness of Trade Compliances Principles and relevant local trade practices.
- Find new suppliers – local as well as international to get the best prices.
- Compare quotations based on quality, details and delivery dates. Negotiate and choose the most cost effective and efficient options for the Company.
- Assist in preparing supply orders to the supplier with the lowest price and quality acceptable to start the procurement process.
- Work with the supply chain manager and warehouse manager to determine the inventory levels are sufficient/need to be ordered depending on the orders received.
- Facilitate internal/external approvals and clearance process are granted in time with no delay after discussion with management.
- Prepare documents (such as purchase order, packing list, BL, invoices etc) with accuracy using the ERP.
- Prepare documents required for export and import shipment (local and international).
- Liaison with finance team to proceed with payment procedures.
- Handle the transportation to and from the factory and other locations as needed.
- Maintain and update shipping records, tracking systems, and databases to ensure accurate and accessible information.
- Assist in resolving any shipping-related issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies, by coordinating with relevant parties and implementing corrective actions.
- Any other task as assigned by the supervisor and/or his nominees.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years’ experience in similar capacity.
- Knowledge of MS office and proficient in working with ERP.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
