Job Description
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability for ongoing construction projects.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile physical inventory with system records to maintain accuracy.
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to track incoming and outgoing materials.
- Analyze stock usage trends and prepare detailed inventory reports for management review.
- Implement and maintain stock control procedures to minimize losses, damages, and discrepancies.
- Oversee the storage and organization of materials to ensure efficient space utilization and safety compliance.
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and recommend actions for disposal or redistribution.
- Support the implementation of inventory management software and digital tracking systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to forecast material requirements.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements in all stock control activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in stock control, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
