Job Description

Job Summary 

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Commercial Manager to lead the local and export sales operations for our factory specializing in semi-fried potatoes and frozen vegetables. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market reach, and managing key client relationships in both domestic and international markets. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for local and export markets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in retail, foodservice, and wholesale channels.
  • Expand the customer base by establishing relationships with distributors, importers, and retailers.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients while ensuring profitability.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Manage export operations, including compliance with international trade regulations, certifications (HACCP, BRC, etc.), and logistics.
  • Plan and attend international fairs and exhibitions to promote products and secure new clients.  Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly.
  • Train and support distributors/agents in target markets to enhance sales performance.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide sales forecasts and reports to senior management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, or related field. MBA is a plus. 
  • Minimum 7-10 years in sales/business development in the frozen food industry, with a strong focus on export markets. 
  • Familiarity with semi-fried potatoes, frozen vegetables, and food safety standards. 
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, distributor management, and export procedures. 
  • Fluency in English (mandatory). 
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership abilities. 
  • Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office, and export documentation.
