Job Description
- Oversee and manage daily production operations for food colors.
- Monitor production parameters.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower production costs without compromising quality or safety.
- Develop and update standard operating procedures for all production processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions promptly to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the quality control department to ensure all food color products meet established quality specifications.
- Implement and enforce good manufacturing practices.
- Recommend and Justify new equipment purchases or upgrades to improve production capabilities and efficiency.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret production data.
- Prepare regular production reports for management, highlighting performance, challenges and proposed solutions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Food Engineering, and Food Science or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the food industry preferably with food ingredients, flavors, or colors.
- Proven experience with process optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
