Job Description
- Oversee day-to-day production and packing operations to ensure adherence to quality, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures across production lines, from raw material intake to final packaging.
- Coordinate routine inspections and audits (internal & external) to maintain certifications (e.g., BRC, Global GAP, GRASP).
- Identify areas for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Train and guide staff on standard operating procedures (SOPs), good manufacturing practices (GMP), and hygiene protocols.
- Investigate non-conformities and customer complaints; establish corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
- Work closely with farm teams to ensure traceability and compliance from field to finished product.
- Maintain detailed records and prepare quality and operations reports for management review.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in a quality assurance, production, or operations role within the food industry (preferably fresh produce or FMCG).
- Knowledge of food safety standards and certifications (BRC, Global GAP, ISO 22000, HACCP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience within the agriculture field
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
- Ability to oversee and communicate with workers in order to achieve desired targets.
- Comfortable with on-ground work, including supervising at farms and pack houses.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
