Job Description

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for opening up a key region and therefore be responsible for key accounts and customers to manage.
  • This region has seen significant growth over recent years and is set to continue growing therefore it is a fantastic time to join the team and contribute to their future success.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business and penetrate strategic accounts.
  • Locate prospects, forecast new business, and create a solid business plan for each account.
  • Manage all sales programs for an expanding company in a small team environment.
  • Negotiate and close sales.
  • Clearly articulate technical capabilities and give technical demonstrations
  • Provide general technical support to clients
  • Act as technical liaison between customers and technical team.
  • Support and act as a resource for new business development activities.
  • Take responsibility for sustaining applications for pre-sale and post-sale customer support

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 3 or more years of relevant experience in a similar position (Electronic Components Distribution).
  • Strong technical understanding of a range of Electronic Components and the ability to communicate this knowledge to others.
  • Ability to develop long term relationships with new & existing customers
  • Account management experience in selling to Electronic R&D customers.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft office).
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication.
  • High level of initiative is essential.
