Job Description

Brief Company Outline:

  • A liaison office in Cairo of a world-class Japanese Trading and investment Company.
  • Supporting overseas offices of the company in all over the world including Japan, Europe, Middle East, etc, to communicate with customers and partners in Egypt.
  • Main business fields in Egypt are Steel, Machinery, Projects, Chemicals, Food, etc.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Required position is subject to future rotation in other biz sectors.
  • Supporting GM and Managers in developing new businesses, which may require market research, study on statistics, and various marketing issues.
  • Business assistant role dealing with everyday emails between head
  • office/regional offices and local biz partners,
  • Traveling in business trip is required if necessary.
  • Import and export shipping arrangements.
  • Maintaining and developing existing and new customer relationships focusing on quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Following Dept. back office and related biz documentations.
  • Filling and copying documents.
  • Visiting customers when requested by the direct manager.
  • Meeting Detp& visitors, and arranging business trips and hotel booking with Admin. Dept.
  • Performing other instructions according to job needs.

Relationships:

  • Members of staff within Mitsui ®ional offices.
  • Suppliers and customers of the Department.
  • Clearing agents, warehouses and other necessary service providers.

Job Requirements

Person Specifications
Skills/Knowledge:

  • Excellent English proactive communication skills and relationship building skills are essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively by e-mail and telephone, and should possess excellent inter-personal skills.
  • Must be PC literate and should possess basic level Microsoft Word, Excel and Power-Point skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative. Should be a self-motivated and reliable individual.

Experience:

  • Previous working experience in an international trading company is preferred.
  • Fresh graduate or 1 - 3 years experience and ability of working in a global environment.

Education:

  • Univ. Graduate: Engineering/Commerce/Economics or other.
