About the Role
We are hiring an Industrial Engineer for a leading cookware manufacturing company. As an Industrial Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving production processes and systems to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance quality. Apply Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead process improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC) and Kaizen to boost productivity, reduce cycle times, and eliminate waste.
- Conduct time and motion studies, value stream mapping, and line balancing to optimize workflow and resource utilization.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and develop efficiency-enhancing solutions.
- Design and implement efficient plant layouts and material handling systems for cookware production.
- Develop and standardize work instructions, SOPs, and quality control checkpoints.
- Contribute to cost analysis and ROI evaluations for new equipment and processes.
- Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain teams for seamless integration of new processes.
- Facilitate Kaizen workshops and train production staff on Lean principles to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer in high-volume manufacturing.
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) with proven project achievements.
- Hands-on experience in Kaizen facilitation and continuous improvement tools.
- Experience in cookware, household products, or metal manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and ERP/MRP systems is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Effective communicator with the ability to work across multi-functional teams.
